Elite Daigo is finally set to arrive in Fortnite on April 30, giving players another chance to grab one of the cleanest Daigo variants Epic has introduced so far. The release date was shared by well-known Fortnite leaker HYPEX, who claims the outfit is now lined up for the Item Shop after previously being tied to Ranked Cup rewards.
Elite Daigo has been floating around the Fortnite community for a while, mostly because of its sharp design, tournament connection, and the fact that it looked too good to stay locked away forever.
Elite Daigo Fortnite Skin Release Date
According to HYPEX, Elite Daigo will drop in Fortnite on April 30. As always with leaked Item Shop information, players should treat the date as unofficial until Epic Games confirms it in-game or through its own channels. Still, HYPEX has a long track record in the Fortnite leak scene, so the report is already getting a lot of attention from players waiting for this outfit.
The skin was previously connected to Fortnite Ranked Cups, where players had the chance to earn Elite Daigo by placing high enough in competitive events. Also, it is an Epic Outfit from The Elites Set, originally obtainable through Chapter 7 Season 1 Ranked Cups.
Elite Daigo has a sleek black tactical suit with a strong futuristic ninja vibe. The outfit keeps Daigoโs sharp face model and spiked dark hair in one style, while the full masked version leans much harder into a superhero-inspired combat look.
The armor is mostly matte black and dark gray, with thin gold lines running across the chest, arms, legs, and helmet. Those gold accents give the skin a premium feel without making it too flashy. The masked version has pointed gold ear-like details and glowing yellow markings around the eyes, which make it look like a mix between a stealth operative and a high-tech panther-themed warrior.
Why Fortnite Players Have Been Waiting for Elite Daigo?
Elite Daigo became one of those skins players kept asking about because it was not widely available at first. Since it was connected to Ranked Cups, many casual players never had a real chance to unlock it. That made the outfit feel more exclusive, but it also created frustration for players who loved the design and wanted it in the Item Shop.
Elite Daigo finally dropping on April 30 would be a big win for Fortnite players who missed the Ranked Cup reward window. The skin has been one of the more requested Daigo cosmetics thanks to its dark armor, gold detailing, masked style, and clean competitive look.
Until Epic confirms the Item Shop rotation, the release should still be treated as a leak. But if the date holds, Fortnite fans will finally get their chance to add Elite Daigo to their locker very soon.
