EA Sports FC 25 brings in new features, changes, and much-needed revamps to make your footballing experience better than the disappointing predecessor. There’s no doubt that football games does not always release with new features. Thus, the changes introduced are mostly concerned with physics, graphics, animations, environment or aesthetical improvements.
Yet, FC25 has brought in some welcome additions or improvements to gameplay and tactical mechanics. Furthermore, the classic fan favourite game modes are joined by a few new ones as well. Hence, EA Sports FC 25 now has 12 Game Modes.

| Ultimate Team | The penultimate online mode. Buy players, open packs to obtain players to build your dream team and strive to be the best team in the game. |
| Career | Play a realistic footballing career with your own custom player, and rise upto footballing glory. Additionally, take up the role of a manager and all the tactics, challenges, and decisions that come with it. Career Mode has two modes: i) Player Career ii) Manager Career |
| Clubs | Create a custom player and play in your preferred position in a team with / against other players. Win matches, increase your rating to level up your custom Virtual Pro Player. |
| Rush | Similar to Volta or Street football, Rush offers a 5v5 futsal like experience. However, has a shorter duration, although, always fast paced. Perfect mode to show of your tricks and skills. Ultimate Team has its own Rush mode. |
| Kick Off | The standard quick-play mode that lets you play against the CPU or your friends upto 4 players. |
| Tournaments | Take part in real-life football tournaments like UEFA Champions League or create your own with your own trophies and rules. |
| Online Seasons | Play online to take your team and player to climb up through ranked divisions to win titles and earn prestige. |
| Co-op Seasons | Co-op Seasons is similar to standard Online Season but it lets you play co-op with a friend. |
| Online Friendlies | Play online friendly matches with friends as casual exhibition matches or keep track of records over seasons to earn or defend a champion title. |
| Training Centre | The training mode that lets you learn the different gameplay mechanics and skills of the game. |
| Practice Arena | Practice mode to freely let you train, warm-up and practice. |
| Skill Games | Learn, practice and master stylish and game-changing skills moves. Skills range from shooting, dribbling, passing, free-kicks, and defending |
