How to Modify and Upgrade A Weapons
You will have to acquire the blueprint and gather materials to upgrade and modify weapons in Dying Light 2. After preparing the mod, you can add it to your weapon. However, weapon tiers limit the number of modifications you can add to equipment.
Blueprints and Crafting Materials
You require a given amount of materials to create a weapon mod. Powerful mods usually require rarer or more significant amounts of materials. Therefore, you should not attach mods to lower-tier weapons since weapons modification is permanent and you have limited resources to create new mods. Also, you can look at the number of circles on the upper right side of the gun to figure out exactly how many mods you can attach to the equipment.
