Fans have been waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl for over 15 years, and after a lot of delays, it is finally close to its release.
It promises to bring everything fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, its unforgiving nature, tense gameplay, and realizing its immersive atmosphere with modern tech and visuals.
In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, in addition to fighting off mutated wildlife and anomalies, you’ll also have to face off against other humans, stalkers of various rival factions who have ventured into the zone in search of riches.
Some fans are disappointed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will not have a Co-Op. After all, a game such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 seems perfect for group play. But the developers have stated that they wanted S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, like previous titles in the series, to be a solo, lonely, and anxious experience.
However, the developers have also confirmed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will have a multiplayer PvP mode added soon after the game’s release.
Does S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 Have PvP?
On launch, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will not have PvP. However, the developers have confirmed that there will be a free content update in the future that will add PvP mode to the game.
Not a lot of details are known about the PvP as of now, but the developers have stated that it will include a deathmatch and team deathmatch game modes. So, it should be similar to the multiplayer modes of games like Call of Duty, Warhammer 40K Space Marine, Gears of War, etc.
We don’t have a confirmed release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2’s PvP but it should be added soon after the game’s release on November 20th.
