How to Switch Weapons

You will need to Level Up and get your Abilities Chart to get the proper Skill first to switch Weapons. There are three types of Skills;

  • Basic Skills
  • Core Skills
  • Other Skills

Out of the five classes, Rogue and Barbarian can change their Weapons as they like swiftly.

To switch weapons in Diablo 4, you can follow these steps:

  • Open your Abilities Tab from the Character Menu first on your screen.
  • You will be shown various Skills, and the ones you have acquired will be in the highlighted form. Click on the chosen Skill, and you will see some Weapons. Select the weapon you want to equip by clicking on it with your mouse.
  • Once you select the weapon, drag it to your character’s weapon slot or right-click it and select “Equip” from the context menu.
  • If you want to switch back to your previous weapon, repeat the process and select the one you want to use.

Alternatively, you can also use hotkeys to switch weapons quickly during combat. The hotkeys for switching weapons are “Q” and “E” on the keyboard by default. Pressing the “Q” key will equip your secondary weapon while pressing the “E” key will equip your primary weapon. If you prefer different keys, you can customize these hotkeys in the game’s settings.

If you choose to be a Barbarian, you can get Two-Handed, Dual Welded, Arsenal, etc., types of powerful Weapons. But remember, if you have Basic Skills, you will only have the primary Weapons with basic attacks. And if you have Core Skills, you will have powerful Weapons with heavy attacks and Basic Skills. And Other Skills consist of your mobility, advantages, and resources.
