Diablo 4 gameplay is largely like its predecessors, with some improvements. In this game, you will follow the main story quest and complete it, then level up until your character reaches maximum potential. The biggest progression system for your character to reach its maximum potential is its gears.
Gears in Diablo 4 come in many rarities. But the highest rarity, called legendary, comes with preset extra effects called legendary aspects. These aspects can change how a player’s character function in the game. So they are, indeed, quite valuable.
In Diablo 4, you can extract these legendary aspects to use them on another gear. That way, you don’t need to search for all the perfect rolls with preferable aspects. Extracting Legendary Aspects in Diablo 4
Extracting aspects from legendaries is a pretty straightforward procedure. You will need to unlock the Occultist NPC to do that. The Occultist can be unlocked just by talking to him after the prologue section of the game. An Occultist can be found in pretty much every major city of the game.
Once you find a legendary aspect you want to unlock, simply go to the Occultist and talk to him. He will give you the option to reroll affixes on your gear and the option to extract and imprint aspects on the gear. Select the extract aspect option, then choose the gear you want to extract from. This is all you have to do.
The extraction and imprint mechanics have been added in this game and can be done relatively easily. This way, the players can create even more diverse builds and experiment with their builds more easily.
