Demoncursed Vayne already looks like one of the standout League of Legends skins from Riot’s upcoming Pandemonium season. The splash art goes all in on a darker, more monstrous take on Vayne, and it instantly feels bigger than a standard cosmetic reveal. Between the official Season 2 setup and Riot’s social post confirming the skin’s patch window, this one is shaping up to be a major release for Vayne players.

Demoncursed Vayne splash art design

Going by the splash art, Demoncursed Vayne leans into a hunter corrupted by the very nightmare she is chasing. She keeps Vayne’s aggressive, forward lunging posture, but the design wraps it in a much more sinister fantasy. Her outfit mixes sharp black armor with deep crimson accents, while glowing red and teal energy spills across her body and weapon like something alive is crawling over her.

The most striking part of the skin is the head and shoulder area. Her hair and helm melt into a demon-like shape with one glowing eye peeking through, which makes her look less like a clean-cut monster hunter and more like someone halfway through a transformation. The giant crossbow blades behind her still keep that signature Vayne silhouette, but they look more brutal and jagged here, fitting the cursed theme.

The background also does a lot of heavy lifting. You can see ghostly monster shapes and warped eyes lurking in the mist behind her, which gives the splash art a haunted, almost underwater nightmare vibe. It feels fast, violent, and corrupted, but still very readable as Vayne. That balance is probably what makes the design work so well.

Demoncursed Vayne release date

Riot has already tied Demoncursed Vayne to Patch 26.09. The official League of Legends account posted that Demoncursed Vayne, along with Pandemonium Annie and Pandemonium Kindred, will be available in Patch 26.09. Riot’s 2026 patch schedule says patches release on Wednesdays unless otherwise noted, which points to Patch 26.9 landing on April 29, 2026.

That timing also lines up with Riot’s latest Season 2 dev update. Riot says Act I of the new Pandemonium season begins with Patch 26.9, and that this season follows Vayne as she hunts demons on the outskirts of Demacia. In other words, this skin is not just dropping randomly. It looks positioned as one of the core cosmetics for the new season theme.

Demoncursed Vayne price

Demoncursed Vayne is a Legendary skin, according to leak reports and early coverage around the reveal, and Riot’s support pricing page lists Legendary skins at 1820 RP. That makes 1820 RP the expected store price for Demoncursed Vayne.

That pricing makes sense in context, too. Riot’s PBE feedback thread for Demoncursed Vayne says the skin comes with custom models and textures, custom VFX, custom SFX, custom animations and recall, plus custom voice over. That is exactly the kind of feature set players normally expect from a Legendary-tier skin.
