The new DLC, Phantom Liberty, lets you return as the cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on high-stakes missions of espionage and intrigue to save the NUSA President. The base game had several endings to it, which are all a result of the decisions you make throughout the game.
But there is a whole new additional ending to the base game with the release of the DLC. And you have to unlock it by making the right decisions at certain points in the DLC. Let’s get right to it!
How to Get the New Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Ending (Spoilers)
The new ending in Cyberpunk 2077 is linked to the story of Songbird, as there is a neural matrix that can potentially destroy the Relic from your system. And in order to obtain the cure, you need to keep Songbird alive.
Now, this can happen in two ways. If you choose to side with Songbird in “I’ve Seen That Face Before,” then all you need to do is help her throughout the rest of the story. At one point, after taking the tram to the shuttle, she will reveal the truth about the cure. And now all you need to do is to cut a deal with Reed.
However, if you take Reed’s side in “I’ve Seen That Face Before” and upload the Icebreaker, then you’ll have to play through the DLC’s final quest.
At a certain point, you will have the option to kill Songbird or to hand her over to Reed. You have to choose to hand her over.
Finally, you’ll have to cut a deal with Reed so that he will talk to the NUS and convince them to let you use the cure.
And that’s all you need to do. You’ll get a call from Reed, and he’ll ask for a meeting on the roof of Misty’s Shop.
Finish all of your business and wrap up all you need to do, as it is the last chance you’ll get before the new ending rolls in.
