Here is how long it might take for you to beat Cyberpunk 2077.

In CD Projekt Red’s 2020 action RPG title Cyberpunk 2077, you play as Mercenary V, a hired gun in a dystopian cyberpunk world. Set in the fictional city known as Night City, you do whatever it takes to protect your freedom.

That includes modifying your body with high-tech cyberware and signing job contracts no one would ever dare. In a world filled with cyber-enhanced thugs, tech-savvy researchers, and of course, corporate big-timers, you take your very first step toward becoming an urban legend.

If you are one of those people who’s curious to know how long it would take to beat this game, then we can help out. Of course, your playtime would be heavily influenced by how you actually play the game.

How Long Does it Take to Beat Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 can easily be a game where you spend more than 120 hours exploring every nook and cranny of Night City. At the same time, you can beeline for the main quest and get done with it within 20 hours as well.

As we mentioned, the time it takes for you to beat the game depends on your playstyle.

If you only want to focus solely on the main missions, you can strike through the missions and finish the story in about 18-20 hours. However, we would suggest avoiding doing that if you do not want to experience the worst ending without pretty much experiencing much of anything.

However, if you intend to play through the main story and the side missions you pick up occasionally, you can expect to clock in about 40-50 hours. This way, you will be experiencing the core gameplay and a good bit of everything the game has to offer.

Lastly, if you are one of those hardcore fans of the game and is aiming to absolutely scour everything, which means going through the main quests, finishing all the gigs and side missions, and buying everything you lay your eyes on, then you can expect to squeeze out around 90-100 hours of gameplay.
