Climbing gear is a good armor set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom because of all the climbing you do in the game. Here is how you can get the whole set in the game.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom brings a lot of changes to the original game. All of Link’s ability sees changes, and you have new areas and mechanics to mess around with. But the armors are one thing that mostly remains the same.

That doesn’t mean all the armors are the same. There has been new armor that is added to the game. But the old armors also make their way into this one too. And one of the best examples of old armor is the Climbing gear. It helps Link climb faster. So it is pretty easy to say how it can be a useful one to have.

But Climbing armor is not sold by any vendor. You will need to track it down piece by piece in this vast open world. And since the world is so big, it can be a daunting task. But fear not; here, we have outlined all the areas you need to visit and how to get the climbing set in Tears of the Kingdom.

Climbing Set Torso Location

The Torso for the climbing set is located in the North Hyrule Plain Cave. The coordinate for this cave is roughly -1186, 0632, 0069. You can reach this area from the North Hyrule Plain stable. After reaching the cave, explore it until you reach a waterfall. You will face some enemies in the cave, so be ready to fight.

Once you reach the waterfall, go through it. The chest containing this torso is hidden behind the waterfall. This cave has two different waterfalls, so make sure you explore both if the first waterfall you encounter doesn’t have a chest. The ascend ability will greatly help you reach higher places in this cave.

Climbing Set Legs Location

For the Legs section of the armor, you need to travel to the Upland Zorana Byroad cave beside the Lanayru Wetlands. The coordinate for this cave is roughly 2866, 0336, 0229. Once you reach the cave, you will find two paths going separate ways.

First, you will need to go through the left path. There you will come across a flooded room that you can drain using the Ultrahand ability. Drain the water and go back through the right path. There you will see a small hut containing the Legs section of the armor.

Climbing Set Head Location

The final piece of armor is located in the Ploymus Mountain Cave. If you have picked up the other two pieces of the armor, this is a good time to use them, as this cave is entirely wet. And climbing on a wet surface is never a good idea in these games. This cave is located east of Zora Domain, with the coordinates being roughly 3655, 0538, 0271.

This cave is a straightforward climbing/platforming challenge. If you want to make things a bit easier, you can make a Sticky Elixir to help with the climbing. Just make your way to the end of the cave to find the final piece of armor you are looking for.
