Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world adventure game set in the world of Pandora. The game sets the player as a Na’vi orphan who was raised by the Resources Development Administration (RDA). The story starts with the main character waking up from the suspended animation in an RDA facility.

Throughout the game, the players will be required to explore the Western Frontier of Pandora, a part of the world that has never been featured in any Avatar game or movie. The main story follows the player’s journey to build up resistance and the Na’vi tribe’s fight against the corporation. There are several types of creatures present in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. Arrow Deer

The Arrow Deers are newly added herbivores in the Avatar universe introduced in Frontiers of Pandora. This creature can be seen in the Upper Plains of the Western Frontier. Standing at 2.92m tall and with a body length of 6.55m, this herbivore mostly travels in herds. The Zeswa clan uses the tendons and colorful skins of the Arrow Deer to make bows and drums, respectively.

Bladehead

The animal is almost 4.0m in height and 7.5m long in size and has a very intimidating body shape. Its head is sharp, and it can deal massive damage while charging with its head. They are territorial animals and live in groups to look after their marked territory. These herbivores are aggressive and attacking in nature.

Direhorse

Direhorses, or Pa’li, can be seen almost everywhere in Pandora. They are horse-like creatures and move around in a large herd of almost 100 creatures. This creature was first seen during the first game of Avatar. They have long necks and two antenna-like structures around their head. Their most interesting feature is their six legs, which enable them to run up to ninety kilometers per hour. For this, Pa’li is often used by the Na’vi tribe as a ride to move around.

Hammerhead Titanothere

While the Hammerhead Titanothere has bad vision, these herbivores have excellent smelling and hearing senses, which can help them detect threats from a distance.

Hexapede

Hexepede, also known as Yerik, can be found in the Forests of Pandora. These herbivores in Avatar are one of the main targets of the Na’vi hunters and offer themselves as a great source of food for the tribal peoples. Hexapedes are dark blue in color and have large bodies that are 7.3 feet tall and 6 feet long. They have an ellipse structure on their head, which can be retracted inside their skull. These herbivores are less aggressive and very good at defending themselves, which makes them hard prey to catch.

Kentrocapra

They are efficient in tracking dangers, thanks to their erect ears. It is speculated that the Na’vi people somehow evolved from the Prolemuris, considering their huge similarities in body structure with these herbivores.

It has an armor-plated skin, which gives them incredible defense against hunters preying on them. It is mainly named after the sail on its back and pink flaps. They lack speed, are generally peaceful creatures, and mainly use chemicals to prevent hunter attacks.

The Soundblast Colossus is a gigantic creature first seen in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. They can be found in the plain regions of Pandora. These herbivores are able to send shockwaves through their sound blast, which repels predators from attacking them. The Soundblast Colossus can be found mostly alone or with a partner, and you will rarely encounter a herd of these herbivores. They have a mix of orange, green, blue, and pink colors in their skin, with a very hard shell wrapping their body.

The Sturmbeests are mostly seen in the herd and are territorial animals who mostly focus on defending their marked areas.

Tapirus

Tapirus, also known as Fwampop, is a creature that lives in the Forests of Pandora. They are only 1 ft in height and almost 3,3ft in length, making them one of the smallest creatures you will find while exploring the forests of Pandora. These creatures have a great resemblance with elephants, although these herbivores are a much smaller version of the animals. They have purple armor covering their upper body, along with a neural whip in front of their face.

Zakru

Zakrus is another gigantic herbivore creature that can be found as the pet of the Zeswa clan. They are mostly seen in the plains of Pandora, especially in the Upper Plains of the Northern Frontier, the home of the Zeswa clan. They also resemble Elephants from the earth, along with their huge body of 20m tall and 32m long. While exploring through the plains, you will mostly find the Zakrus in groups and sometimes roaming alone. They are extremely sociable, especially with the Zeswa, and can respond to the clan’s emotions.
