Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone’s latest patch notes just went live.
Activision recently published patch notes for the upcoming Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone update. We also got a first look at the upcoming Rambo and Die hard Bundles. There was also information about weapons nerfs and buffs. Moreover, there was also information about the upcoming maps, game modes, world events, etc.
Call of Duty also released a trailer for the 80’s Action Heroes Bundles coming to Call of Duty. In the trailer, we got a glimpse of the upcoming Rambo and Die Hard Bundle skins and all the actions they will bring.
Update Date:
The 80’s Action Heroes Event kicks off on May 18 at 9 PM PT for Cold War and May 19 at 9 PM PT for Warzone.
The event will also be available for Call of Duty: Mobile on May 20 at 5 PM PT.

Operators Rambo and John McClane:
Rambo and John McClane make their way to Call of Duty as part of the 80’s Action Hero Event.
Rambo:
The Rambo bundle will launch with the release of the update. The bundle will be available for a limited time from May 19 at 9 PM PT to June 18 at 9 PM PT in the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Store.
The Rambo Bundle includes the following items-
- Legendary Operator
- Two Finishing Moves(including one using his signature bow and arrow)
- Three Legendary Weapon Blueprints—an assault rifle, an LMG, and a Knife Blueprint
- A Legendary Calling Card and Emblem
- An Epic Watch and Charm.
John McClane:
The John McClane bundle will also launch with the release of the update on May 19th.
This bundle will be available in the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Store from May 19 at 9 PM PT to June 18 at 9 PM PT. The John McClane Bundle includes-
- Legendary Operator
- A Finishing Move
- Three Legendary Weapon Blueprints—one tactical rifle, two SMG, and one assault rifle
- A Legendary Calling Card and Emblem
- An Epic Watch
- An Epic Weapon Charm
New Weapons:
Two new weapons are coming to Cold and Warzone. They are-
- Baseball Bat: Melee (Launch Week)
- AMP63: Pistol (In-Season)
’80s Action Heroes Event:
“Operators will be tasked with completing objectives in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, receiving rewards that can be used across both titles, with the exception of the Robot Tank Arcade Game (available only in the Black Ops Cold War Barracks). These challenges are themed around the awesome new, limited-time content, and include objectives like completing matches in specific playlists or earning kills with the new Combat Bow Killstreak in Warzone.”
You can get the following rewards for completing challenges in the event-
- semi-automatic tactical rifle Weapon Blueprint(Complete all nine Black Ops Cold War)
- Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle Weapon Blueprint(complete all nine of the Warzone)
Additional Store Bundles:
Along with the Rambo and John McClane, we will also have various other bundles coming to the store. These are-
One of the bundles is the “Death’s Veil Maxis”. This bundle includes-
- Samantha’s new “Death’s Bride” Operator Skin
- “Nailed Down” Finishing Move
- “Death’s Vow” SMG
- “Death’s Protest” LMG
“Tracer Pack: Nuclear Distillery Mastercraft” is another bundle coming to the Call of Duty store. This one includes-
- “Special Batch” shotgun Mastercraft

Warzone Content:
New POI:
Some new POI’s will be introduced into Verdansk during the event for a limited time. These are-
Nakatomi Plaza (Launch)
The famous Nakatomi Plaza from the Die Hard movies will be a new POI in Call of Duty.
Survival Camps (Launch)
CIA Outpost (Launch)
New Game Mode:
Power Grab:
The new Power Grab game mode is a Limited-Time Mode that pits over 100 Operators across select squad sizes.
The zone is similar to the traditional Battle Royale but there is no Gulag. Players will have to revive their teammates from Buy Stations or by collecting Dog Tags from fallen enemies or contracts.
New Killstreak:
Combat Bow (Launch):
A new killstreak that’s basically an explosive bow. The Combat Bow does more damage and travels more distance the longer you pull back.
Call of Duty Cold War Content:

Two new maps are coming to Cold War in the upcoming update. These maps are-
- Standoff (6v6, Launch)
- Duga (Multi-Team, Launch)
New GameModes:
Two new game modes are coming soon with the launch of the new update in Cold War. They are-
- Die Hardpoint (Launch)
- Rambo’s Gun Game (Week Two)
- Multi-Team Elimination (Launch)
New Medals:
Action Movie–Inspired Medals (Launch)
These Action Heroes Inspired medals can be earned during the duration of the 80’s Action Heroes Event.
