Riot has unveiled that Galio, Jinx, Milio, Morgana, and Ziggs are receiving massive buffs in patch 13.20.

Since Worlds 2023 is right around the corner, Riot is adjusting the meta that will impact the pro play. The recent patches before it were stepping stones for the Worlds 2023 patch, 13.20.

In patch 13.18, we saw the newest addition to the League of Legends roster, Briar. Regarding champion balance, we saw buffs for Gwen, Thresh, Senna, etc. Moreover, many jungle prominent jungle champions received massive nerfs.

Afterward, in patch 13.19, Lee Sin, Galio, Lissandra, and others received significant buffs. Alongside these changes, famous pro-pick champions like Zeri, Azir, Renekton, and Rek’Sai received some nerfs.

And since patch 13.20 will be the Worlds 2023 patch, Riot has to be careful about which champions to adjust, as that will be the tournament’s meta for the foreseeable future.

For what will be changed, Riot will be heavily adjusting snowballing by nerfing jungle, adjusting tower plating gold, etc. Furthermore, Riot Phroxzon revealed all the upcoming champion adjustments in patch 13.20. He revealed that Galio, Jinx, Milio, Morgana, and Ziggs would receive significant buffs in patch 13.20.

League of Legends: Patch 13.20 Buffs

Galio Buffs

  • W CD: 18-16 >>> 18-14
  • W Passive Shield Timer: 12 >>> 12-8

Galio is a very flexible champion who can be picked as both a mid-laner and a support. His main strength is his roaming capability. However, even with that, he is not as strong as others. Due to it, he even got buffed in the previous patch 13.19. But with that, he still hasn’t reached his full potential yet. So he is getting buffed again.

Jinx Buffs

  • Base Stats:
    • Health Scaling: 100 per level >>> 105 per level.
  • Passive – Get Excited!:
    • (Added) Bonus Attack Speed: 25%, also can stack multiple times.
  • R – Super Mega Death Rocket!:
    • Cooldown: 75/65/55 seconds >>> 70/55/40 seconds.

With some ADC item nerfs earlier this year, Jinx’s pick rate also decreased. Because of that, Jinx is receiving massive buffs that can make her a top-tier ADC. Firstly, her health scaling was increased slightly, which is neat. Additionally, her ultimate cooldown was also lowered.

The main change is that, alongside bonus movement speed, she now gains bonus attack speed with her passive, which can also stack multiple times. This change will make bot lane more interesting in the upcoming Worlds.

Milio Buffs

  • E recharge timer reduced from 18 – 14 seconds to 17 – 13
  • R AP ratio increased from 30% to 50%
  • E shield increased from 60 – 160 to 60 – 180

Milio is one of the most recent champions released in the game. While he is not a bad support by any means, there are other, more capable champions. To give him more strength, Riot is increasing his late-game potential.

Morgana Buffs

  • W
    • AP ratio: 14% > 17%
    • Monster damage: 155% > 165%
  • E
    • CD: 24-16 > 26-16
  • R
    • MS: 5-55% towards enemies > 10-60% in all directions
    • Stun duration: 1.5 > 1.5/1.75/2 Damage: 150-300(.7 AP) >175-325(.8 AP)

Morgana is getting some decent buffs in this patch. Most of them are quality-of-life updates. Firstly, her damage from ability was increased, and E cooldown was reduced. Most notably, instead of having bonus movement speed while only moving toward the tethered enemy, her movement speed was increased in all directions, regardless of where the enemy was. However, she still needs to be tethered to an enemy to get this movement buff.

Ziggs Buffs

  • Q collision radius increased from 150 to 180

Ziggs is one of the most popular APCs in the game. Additionally, his pick rate has been on the rise recently. Riot will be buffing him in patch 13.20 to unleash his full potential.

Release Date

The Worlds 2023 patch, or 13.20, will be released on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
