How to Find Kagha’s Chest in BG3
In the opening act of Baldur’s Gate 3, players will finish the Save Arabella quest. As soon as the quest ends, you will start the Expose Kagha quest. Throughout this quest, players will be required to go to several locations to expose Kagha. However, the first step will be to find a chest from which you can obtain valuable information.
At the beginning of the Expose Kagha quest, make your way to Kagha’s kingdom, the Emerald Grove. After reaching the Emerald Grove, head towards the Servant’s Quarter. After entering the Servant’s Quarter, you can find a large bookshelf in the center of the room. On your left, you will find a smaller bookshelf. If you look closely, you will further discover that there is a hidden chamber just behind it.
You can reach the chamber by vaulting on the broken wall on the adjacent right side of the smaller bookshelf. Jump through the wall and get to the chamber behind the shelf. In the chamber, you will find Kagha’s chest, the item that you were looking for.
Now, to open the chest, you will be required to use some Lockpicking skills. However, you can also pickpocket Kagha and steal the key from her when you first meet her. However, this action can be a bit risky if you don’t have a professional thief in your party.
After opening the chest, you will find a book and a half-torn note inside it. After reading the note, you will find a letter from Olodan, telling Kagha to meet him in the swamps. Now, head towards the swamps to continue on your quest to expose Kagha.
