This article is all about Galio and his skins being ranked from worst to best.

The Colossus, Galio, is one of the iconic League of Legends characters. His identity in the lore and in the game is just unique. Ever since Galio’s rework, he has been one of the most versatile champions.

Over the course of the last few years after Galio was reworked, he has been played as either a mid-laner or a support. What Galio does pretty well is the ability to roam around the map. This valuable ability made him a top pick in Pro Play at one point.

Now, he is just a fringe pick in Solo Queue with a decent play rate and a healthy win rate. So that signifies the champion has a fair bit of popularity and likeness for the playstyle he promotes.

Galio also has quite a number of skins. Considering his place in the game, it is not surprising that he has quite a number of skins. Let’s talk about all the skins Galio has and rank them from worst to best.

9. Commando Galio

  • Release Date: January 18, 2011
  • Price: 520 RP
  • Chromas: 0

Commander Galio has the following features.

  • New Model
  • New SFX/VFX

This skin has a nice look for a skin worth 520 RP. It pulls off the Commando theme really well and has some subtle SFX/VFX differences in contrast to the base skin. Overall, it’s not a bad skin, but it’s definitely not the best one available for Galio.

8. Enchanted Galio

Enchanted Galio

  • Release Date: August 10, 2010
  • Price: 520 RP
  • Chromas: 0

As one of the oldest Galio skins, this one has the following features.

  • New Model
  • New SFX/VFX

While Commando Galio and this skin have the same price, this one has a better look. The golem-like look fits the champion, and the runes on his wings are a nice touch, compiled with the visual animations. All in all, it’s a pretty nice skin on a budget.

7. Debonair Galio

  • Release Date: April 13, 2015
  • Price: 750 RP
  • Chromas: 0

The fancy-looking Debonair Galio has the features listed below.

  • New Model
  • New SFX/VFX

The first thing you see of Debonair Galio is how buttoned up the skin looks. It’s flashy, and the look fits Galio. However, the skin does not have many special effects. So, while the skin looks nice, it has nothing else to make it better.

6. Hextech Galio

  • Price: 520 RP (Legacy Vault)
  • Chromas: 0

Being one of the oldest skins, Hextech Galio’s features are as follows.

  • New Model
  • New SFX/VFX

Hextech Galio basically looks like a mechanical golem. The Ability VFX looks similar to Enchanted Galio, but the looks are completely different. For the price, this is a really good skin. However, it is limited due to being in the Legacy Vault, so there are better options to get.

5. Infernal Galio

  • New Animations
  • New Recall Animation

As one of the first epic skins for Galio, this is pretty nice. The infernal theme is represented well, and the skin gives the look of a flame demon clad in armor. The effects look great and are visually pleasing. To cap it off, the best part of the skin is the recall animation. All in all, it is a really nice skin with a decent selection of chromas.

4. Dragon Guardian Galio

This skin looks like Riot’s take on a wind dragon, and the abilities back that up. The SFX is unique, and the animations are quite nice, including the recall animation. Overall, this is a great skin, but there are better options available.

3. Mythmaker Galio

Mythmaker Galio

Mythmaker Galio Chromas

Being the latest skin for Galio has its perks. The cosmetic looks more polished, modern, and cool. That generally puts new skins on a pedestal, and it is pretty nice to see Mythmaker Galio.

The only problem is that the skin is in a vault, so you need to wait until they unvault during certain festivals and events. Regardless, this is one of the best skins Galio has and deserves to be mentioned as one of the best skins for the champion.

2. Gatekeeper Galio

Gatekeeper Galio

  • Release Date: April 23, 2012
  • Price: 1820 RP
  • Chromas: 0

As the only Legendary skin Galio has, these are the following features for this cosmetic.

  • New Model
  • New SFX/VFX
  • New Animations
  • New Recall Animation
  • New Voice

Despite the skin being fairly old, Gatekeeper Galio is the only Legendary for the champion. It has a pretty neat look and easily has one of the better animations for Galio. The only real drawback is no chromas. Otherwise, this has the aesthetics, animations, etc, for being an excellent skin.

1. Birdio

Easily, the best skin for Galio is Birdio. While many would point to how this skin has fewer features, it still is much better than the rest. The fact that Galio looks, walks, and talks like a chicken is amazing. Also, his death animation is fried chicken, and he cooks chicken during recalls. What is not to love about this skin?
