Arena Returns To League of Legends Once Again

Riot has revealed the return of Arena to League of Legends with more new changes.

Arena has been a big hit since the introduction of the game mode to League of Legends. With each iteration of Arena, Riot has improved aspects of the game mode. Thus, Arena is returning very soon with more new changes and additions.

When Is Arena Coming Back To League of Legends?

Based on the new Dev Update information, Arena is coming to League of Legends during the MSI Event. The Empyrean skin line is also returning during MSI.

What Is New With Arena?

Riot is adding a few things to Arena and a lot of the changes are to keep players engaged with the game mode. Here are the new changes to Arena.

  • Each Lobby Size is increasing from 8 to 16 (from 4 teams to 8 teams).
  • Item System Will Substantially Changed
  • Prismatic Items Are Being Added
  • Item Acquiring Can Also Be Gambled By Using Anvils

With these changes, especially with the lobby size, Riot wants to keep the game mode fresher than it has been. We will know more soon when the Dev Blog comes out for it.
