Street Fighter 6 is officially invading the Outlands as part of the Apex Legends vs Street Fighter 6 Event, bringing one of Apex Legends’ biggest crossover events yet.
Running from September 22 to October 13, 2026, the collaboration introduces Street Fighter abilities to Wildcard, a remixed version of Olympus, eight crossover Legend skins, eight Legendary weapon skins, and the new Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee cosmetic.

Street Fighter Abilities Take Over Apex Legends Wildcard
The biggest gameplay addition comes to Wildcard, where players can collect Fighter Gear and choose one of four Street Fighter-inspired kits.
Each fighter comes with a Passive, Tactical, and Ultimate:
- Ryu: Fast movement, ranged Hadokens, and a Shin Shoryuken uppercut.
- Chun-Li: Wall-running, faster melee attacks, Kikoken projectiles, and a charged Kikosho attack.
- Akuma: Gou Hadoken fireballs and the devastating Shun Goku Satsu.
- Dhalsim: Low-gravity movement, Yoga Teleport, and the aerial Yoga Sunburst.
Players can also collect tokens across the map to fill their Fight Gauge. Activating it puts the Legend into Fighter Form and switches the game to a third-person perspective.
While Fighter Form is active, players gain access to their new Tactical and Ultimate abilities, stronger melee attacks, blocking, extra damage resistance, and bonus movement speed. Landing abilities can also help replenish the Fight Gauge before it runs out.
Showdown Turns the Final Fight Into Street Fighter Chaos
Matches can eventually reach Showdown, a special final round designed to turn the closing moments of Wildcard into an all-out fighting game battle.
During Showdown, everyone receives an infinite Fight Gauge, meaning players can freely activate Fighter Form. Downed and respawning players are also sent straight back into the arena.
So, that means the final battle can quickly turn into a barrage of Hadokens, combos, melee attacks, and Street Fighter abilities until one squad scores the final knockout.
Olympus Gets a Street Fighter 6 Makeover
The crossover will also feature a special Street Fighter 6 remix of Olympus.
Fight Night has been transformed into Luke’s Gym, where entering the ring activates Fighter Form. Players can also destroy Punch Trucks to collect tokens for their Fight Gauge.
Other changes around Olympus include giant fighter statues, Street Fighter-themed graffiti, arcade machines, Blanka-chan balloons, banners, and other decorations inspired by Capcom’s fighting game.
Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee
One of the headline cosmetics is the Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee.
Rather than being tied to one specific Legend like a traditional Heirloom, the Hadoken is a Universal Melee cosmetic inspired by Street Fighter’s iconic projectile attack. It also comes with a matching Deathbox cosmetic.
All Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 Skins
Eight Legends are receiving new Iconic Skins based on Street Fighter 6 characters:
- Sparrow as Ryu
- Alter as Chun-Li
- Bangalore as Elena
- Mirage as Luke
- Gibraltar as Akuma
- Wattson as Cammy
- Caustic as Blanka
- Pathfinder as Dhalsim
The crossover also adds eight Legendary Street Fighter 6-themed weapon skins for the:
- R-99
- EVA-8
- Flatline
- Volt
- G7 Scout
- Mozambique
- Devotion
- Peacekeeper
Players can also collect Skydive Emotes, Holosprays, Stickers, Badges, Trackers, and Banner Frames during the event.
Street Fighter 6 Reward Shop
Playing during the event lets players earn Zenny, which can be spent in the limited-time Reward Shop.
One of the standout rewards is an Epic Lifeline skin inspired by Li-Fen. The reward tracks also include Apex Packs, Battle Pass Stars, Crafting Metals, trackers, banners, and an event badge.
Twitch Drops and Discord Quest Rewards
There are also extra cosmetics available outside the main event progression.
From September 22 to September 29, watching any Apex Legends Twitch stream for 60 minutes will unlock the Insert Coin Here Weapon Charm.
Meanwhile, the Apex Legends Discord Quest runs from September 22 to October 12. Playing Apex Legends for 15 minutes while completing the quest unlocks the Kung Fu Coach Tracker Set.
Players will need their respective Twitch or Discord accounts linked to their EA account to receive the rewards.
