Heirlooms are special Mythic tier items in Apex Legends. So, fans think that they should have special finishers to increase their overall value.
Since Apex Legends is a free-to-play FPS battle royale game set in the same universe as the Titanfall franchise of video games, Respawn Entertainment opted to use the “freemium” model to monetize this game. As such, players don’t have to purchase the game to enter the lobbies.
Instead, players can purchase cosmetic items such as skins, battle passes, trackers, banners, emotes, and more to customize their play session in Apex Legends. Furthermore, players can also buy loot boxes called Apex packs that provide players with 3 random items. Among these cosmetic items, Heirlooms have the lowest drop rate.
As Heirlooms have the lowest drop rate of any cosmetic item in the game, they are really sought after by the player base. They are basically custom-made melee skins for each individual legend in the game. However, compared to their price and rarity, these high-priced cosmetic items don’t provide anything else in the game.

Heirlooms Should Have Special Finishers
Heirlooms are the most expensive cosmetic items in Apex Legends. Each Apex Pack has a 0.2% chance of opening Heirloom Shards. So, you may have to spend around $500 to open an Heirloom in the game. Another way of getting an Heirloom is by unlocking all items in the collection events. That also costs a significant amount of money.
On paper, Heirlooms should have the most exclusive features in Apex Legends with lots of animations, finishers, easter eggs, and more. Surprisingly, some of the older Heirlooms don’t even have enough animations to begin with.
Some players even think that Heirlooms should come with exclusive banners, quotes, pose, animations, and more. However, Respawn said a long time ago that they would update old Heirlooms, so there is a chance to experience an Heirloom exclusive animation or something similar in the future.
