Apex Legends Dev Responds to Game-Breaking Bangalore’s MIL-SPEC Skin Bug

The new Bangalore Pilot-themed skin in Apex Legends is causing the game to crash unexpectedly.

Apex Legends finally revealed the backstory of Bangalore and her brother with the recent SFTO cinematic short. The short not only gave fans a more in-depth look into Bangalore’s past but also introduced a new Pilot-themed legendary skin for Bangalore called “MIL-SPEC” that arrived alongside the Gridiron skin bundle.

The IMC military-inspired legendary skin suited Bangalore perfectly. However, keen-eyed players soon figured out that there might be something wrong with this new skin, as it appears to be causing a lot of game crashes.

It turns out that if you equip this specific skin for Bangalore, the game shows a game logic processing error. And it is currently the root cause behind many recent game crashes. Upon discovering this weird bug, players showcased their frustration on Apex Legends’ official subreddit.

Dev Responds to the Bangalore Skin Bug

Following many complaints from the player base, one Apex Legends dev stated that they are currently aware of the issue. As such, they are working on fixing it as soon as possible.

Apex Legends, unfortunately, has a history of cosmetic items, causing the game to crash. Until they come up with a hotfix, don’t equip this pilot-themed legendary Bangalore skin.
