Apex Legends is getting spooky with Blood Pact, running from October 13 to November 3, 2026. Pick Beasts or Demons in Wildcard and earn powers by completing combat challenges.
In brief:
- Blood Pact brings a faction rivalry to Wildcard.
- Kings Canyon gets a haunted makeover.
- Sparrow, Alter, and the R-99 receive new cosmetics.
- The announcement recaps fixes and tracked bugs.
Blood Pact Wildcard: Beasts vs. Demons
Each round introduces a challenge, such as dealing damage or scoring knocks, that unlocks a faction Wild Card.
Beast perks
- Evasive Maneuvers: Move faster with melee equipped.
- Fast Draw: Use cells and switch weapons faster.
- Critical Roll: Reloading temporarily grants critical hits.
Demon perks
- Speedy Charge: Recharge Tactical and Ultimate abilities faster.
- Shields Up: Gain Epic-tier shields.
- Super Cells: Restore all shield health with a cell.
Beasts look suited to chasing fights, while Demons should appeal to squads that want stronger recovery and more frequent abilities.
Haunted Kings Canyon and Rev Shell Grenades
Random fog reduces visibility and conceals squad movement. Rev Shell Grenades return to track enemies, while haunted buildings, glowing Nessies, spooky Loot Bins, and pumpkin EVO orbs decorate Kings Canyon.
Blood Pact Skins and Store Bundles
Sparrow gets an ’80s werewolf-inspired skin and character select animation. Alter receives a demonic look, alongside a new R-99 skin. The Blood Pact Store also includes Beast and Demon Legend Retheme Bundles.

Blood Pact Patch Notes and Recent Fixes
The event post confirms a fix for updated language packs being inaccessible on some platforms. It also lists three issues under investigation:
- Alter portals sending players to incorrect locations.
- Ground clipping around some Broken Moon structures.
- Settings resetting on startup.
Separate hotfix announcements already report fixes for specific cases, such as Steam settings resets on October 2, and missing floor geometry at Broken Moon’s Terraformer on October 6. Those fixes overlap with the event page’s broader issue list, so the post alone doesn’t establish which cases remain affected.
The October 2 update also reduced Fast Draw’s reload-time reduction from 35% to 25%, and its consumable-use-time reduction from 50% to 25%. These are existing adjustments, rather than newly announced October 13 changes.
