How to Find All 15 Celestial Pills in Black Myth: Wukong to upgrade your health, stamina, and mana.
Each chapter in Black Myth: Wukong introduces a new region. Each with its own unique environment to explore, armor to craft, materials to find, and new enemies to fight.
Furthermore, each chapter contains three Celestial Pills you to find. These pills are the Jade Lotus Pill, Taiyi Pill, and the Nonary Pill, which increases your maximum Health, Mana, and Stamina respectively.
Most of these pills are easy to find, which you can come across while on the main path. However, some can be harder to find and require exploration.
In this article, we list every pill in each chapter and how you can find them. So that you can maximize your combat prowess.

Chapter 1 Celestial Pill Locations
Celestial Jade Lotus Pill (Max Health Upgrade)
After defeating Lingxuzi in Guanyin Temple, go straight ahead and inside the temple. Immediately turn left after you enter, and you will find a gold metal dish on a table with a statue and two candles. Interact with the dish to get the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill.
Celestial Taiyi Pill (Max Stamina Upgrade)
After defeating the Whiteclad Noble, starting from the Marsh of White Mist shrine in Bamboo Grove. go straight ahead until you reach the entrance of the Black Wind Cave. Enter the cave, and keep going straight, ignoring the path on the right (this path leads to a Shrine and the Black Wind King boss fight). You will reach a meditation spot and a Golden Dish containing the Celestial Taiyi Pill.
Celestial Nonary Pill (Max Stamina Upgrade)
After defeating the Black Wind King, starting from the Outside the Cave Shrine in Black Wind Cave, keep moving forward to make your way to Bodhi Peak. On your way there, you’ll get in a fight with some Rat Archers and a Bullguard. There you’ll see an altar in the distance. On that altar is a golden dish containing the Celestial Nonary Pill.
Chapter 2 Celestial Pill Locations
Celestial Taiyi Pill (Max Mana Upgrade)
After defeating the Stone Vanguard, starting from the Rock Clash Platform shrine in Fright Cliff, keep following the main until you can make a right. On this right, is a table with a golden dish containing the Celestial Taiyi Pill.
Celestial Nonary Pill (Max Stamina Upgrade)
Starting from the Valley of Despair shrine in Sandgate Village, take the path on the right to go into a cave. In the next cave section, drop down and go to the corner on the left. Walk across the broken pillar and squeeze through a wall. Beat the Swift Bat and keep going straight ahead which will lead to another cave section. At the end of this section, after two more Swift Bats, there will be a golden dish containing the Celestial Nonary Pill.
Celestial Jade Lotus Pill (Max Health Upgrade)
After defeating both the Tiger Vanguard and the Stone Vanguard, starting from the Temple Entrance shrine in Crouching Tiger Temple. Go upstairs to the Tiger Vanguard’s arena and interact with the little statue. You will need the Sterness of Stone item dropped by the Stone Vanguard to do this. This will open a hatch on the floor. Drop down and you will find a golden dish in corridor, to the left. This dish contains the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill.
Chapter 3 Celestial Pill Locations
Celestial Taiyi Pill (Max Mana Upgrade)
Starting from the Outside the Wheel shrine in Pagoda Realm, go forward through the water with cave. After exiting the cave, follow the straight path ahead, and you’ll find a golden dish on the right. This dish contains the Celestial Taiyi Pill.
Celestial Jade Lotus Pill (Max Health Upgrade)
From the Turtle Island shrine in Bitter Lake, turn around and drop down the cliff to your right twice to reach a pathway with a dish in the middle. This dish contains the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill.
Celestial Nonary Pill (Max Stamina Upgrade)
From the Temple Entrance shrine in New Thunderclap Temple, move straight forward through the temple building and then up the staircase.
After going upstairs, take the left path downstairs and go into the building straight ahead.
Go up the stairs in that building. From the second floor, leave using the exit on the right. You will reach another staircase that takes you to a boss fight.
Head right from there to reach a frozen body of water, where you can find a golden dish containing the Celestial Nonary Pill.
Chapter 4 Celestial Pill Locations
Celestial Jade Lotus Pill (Max Health Upgrade)
From The Second Sister boss arena, move to the next area. Before dropping down the dark hole, you’ll find a golden dish on a table in the back, in front of the gong. This dish contains the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill.
Celestial Taiyi Pill (Max Mana Upgrade)
From the Cliff of Oblivion shrine in Webbed Hollow, after beating Buddha’s Right Hand, go up the broken hand and then up the left side to find a golden dish containing the Celestial Taiyi Pill.
Celestial Nonary Pill (Max Stamina Upgrade)
After clearing the Purple Altars questline, there will be golden dish, containing the Celestial Nonary Pill in front of you, after you beat the Supreme Inspector.
However, keep in mind that this questline can only be done before beating the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master, which finishes Chapter 4.
Below is a list of all four Purple Altars you need to find to complete this quest:

| Purple Alter #3 | After defeating Buddha’s Right Hand, go over the broken hand and down the path on the left side. Drop down and go over the wooden hanging bridge. You will reach a narrow wooden beam with spider arms slashing out of cocoons. Use Cloud Step to turn invisible and run over the beam, so that you don’t get attacked After crossing the beam you reach the Relief of the Fallen Loong shrine. To the left of that shrine enter the cave area and you’ll find the purple altar at the end of the path |
| Purple Alter #4 | Directly in front of the Court of Illumination shrine in Temple of Yellow Flowers. This altar is blocked by an invisible wall. This wall only goes away after you collect the previous three altars. |
Chapter 5 Celestial Pill Locations
Celestial Jade Lotus Pill (Max Health Upgrade)
From the Ashen Pass II Shrine in Woods Ember, turn around you’ll find a golden dish containing the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill directly across from the shrine.
Celestial Taiyi Pill (Max Mana Upgrade)
To the right of the Rakshasa Palace shrine in Furnace Valley, you’ll find a golden dish containing the Celestial Jade Pill.
Celestial Nonary Pill (Max Stamina Upgrade)
This pill requires you to unlock the Bishui Cave secret area. To unlock this area you’ll need to complete Five Element Carts quest.
From the first shine in this area, go downstairs to fight Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top. Afterwards, go upstairs to the next area and enter the first alcove on the left to find a golden dish containing the Celestial Nonary Pill.
