The ALGS 2023 Split 2 Playoffs is live. So, let’s see the overall result and team standings.
TSM won the Split 1 Playoffs and showed an outstanding overall performance. However, the other participating teams didn’t slack off by any means. All the teams and players gave fantastic displays of enthusiasm and commitment to the game.
With a new goal in mind, 40 teams from 5 different regions are going forward to fight against each other in Apex 2023’s second biggest LAN event called Split 2 Playoffs. Group Stage Overall Standing (July 13 – 14)
The first two days of competition (July 13 – 14) will be a 40-team group stage where teams are divided into 4 groups of 10 teams and play a single six-match series against every other group.
TSM was able to win day 2 of the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs despite coming just a few points shy of Alliance the day before. Yet, as the only two teams with more than 190 points, Alliance and TSM both had heroic performances throughout the Group Stage. Fnatic, the third team, trails both teams by 50 points.
Bracket Stage (July 15)
Every team was assigned a starting spot in the double-elimination bracket on Saturday, July 15, based on how they performed in the Group Stage.

With 64 total points, Moist took first place in the Winner’s Bracket Round 1, closely followed by the top two finishers from the Group Stage: TSM and Alliance. Apart from these three teams, Oxygen Esports, Fnatic, Pulverex, LG Chivas, DarkZero, NRG, and Ganbare Otousan also made it to the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs Finals.
The top 10 will have an advantage in the grand final because they advanced directly to the finals by putting on outstanding performances. Based on their standings, the top 10 teams from the Winner’s Bracket will be awarded 10 to 1 points.
On the other hand, some highly popular teams like XSET, Acend, and 100 Thieves failed to make it to the top 10. Hence, they’ll be delegated to the Loser’s Bracket Round 2, where they’ll face off against the first 10 teams of Loser’s Bracket Round 1.
Loser’s Bracket Round 2
The July 15 matches came to a close with the Loser’s Bracket Round 2, where we finally got our last 10 finalists, who will square off against the top 10 players from the Winner’s Bracket. Unfortunately, these teams won’t have any points in their hands, unlike the top 10 teams from the Winner’s Bracket. To reach the match point, they must therefore work a little bit harder.
After facing some hardship throughout the LAN event, teams like XSET, 100 Thieves, Acend and FaZe finally made it to the finals. The remaining 10 teams from positions 11 to 20 will unfortunately not advance further in the Split 2 Playoffs.
Finals
The top 20 teams proceeded to the Match Point Finals after competing in the double-elimination round on Saturday. The Finals will feature a single Match Point format series to decide the winner.
Overall Standing
Although TSM was the first team to reach match point, they failed to win the ALGS 2023 Split 2 Playoffs finals. DarkZero was the second team to reach match point. However, they quickly topped TSM in terms of points.
Oxygen Esports, XSET, and FaZe clan reached match point in the 6th round. However, DarkZero snatched first place in the next match and became the 2023 Split 2 Playoffs champions.
Prizes
The ALGS 2023 Split 1 Playoffs had a total prize pool of $1,000,000. Only the top 20 teams out of the total of 40 will split the prize pool. Unfortunately, the remaining 20 teams will have to go empty-handed.
