How To Recruit Heroes
You may want to recruit Heroes to unlock Hero classes. Unlocking Heo classes will help your character unlock many skills and abilities. You may follow the steps below to recruit Heroes:
Chapter 2
You will have the ability to recruit Heroes from Chapter 2. So, reach this level as quickly as you can.
Hero Quests
Each Hero will have different quests; complete those quests to unlock them and more.
All the Heroes
There are quite a few Heroes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. They can be recruited after being unlocked by you.
To unlock them, you must learn about them and see the tips below:
Ethel
Ethel will automatically get unlocked in Chapter 2. You will find her in Colony 4.
Valdi
Valdi will be automatically unlocked in Chapter 3 in Ribbi Flats.
Zeon
You will be able to unlock him after you complete Chapter 2 in Colony 9.
Teach
You will find him in the Gura Flower Lowlands in Colony Gamma at the end of Chapter 2.
Riku & Manana
Riku and Manana will also be unlocked in Chapter 3, and you may find them at Urayan Mines.
Gray
You will find Gray in Millick Meadows, and he can be unlocked at the end of Chapter 2.
Isurd
You can unlock him in Chapter 4 in the Colony Lambda.
Juniper
Juniper, another Hero, is unlocked automatically in Chapter 4, and you can find her in Colony Maktha Wildwood and Tau.
Ashera
After you complete Chapter 4 and start Chapter 5, you can unlock her in the Syra Hovering Reefs.
Alexandria
You will be able to unlock her in Chapter 3 in Fornis Desert.

You can only unlock her after you complete the Vandham’s Heir quest.
Fiona
You can unlock her in Candesnia Region after completing the Transparent Dreams Quest.
Triton
You can unlock him in Colony 15 after completing the Liberation Quest.
Ghondor
Ghondor can be unlocked at the far end of completing the story. You have to be patient all the way.
Miyabi
You can unlock her if you complete the Liberation Quest in Colony Omega.
Commuravi
If you can complete the quest called A Twist Of Faith, you will be able to unlock Commuravi.
Segiri
He is a Machine Assassin. Complete the short quests in Colony 4 to get to Colony 0. This is where you will unlock Segiri.
Nia
Go to The Hall Of The Serene, and you will find her there. Go there and complete her quest to add her as your Hero.
Melia
Head South and Keves Castle, you will find Melia’s quest there. Complete it and unlock this Hero.
