As Lunar New Year is around the corner, all the champions who would be receiving this skin in Wild Rift have been leaked.
The Lunar New Year is one of the first major cultural events that is celebrated in a year. It is the beginning of a lunisolar calendar, whose months are based on moon cycles. As it is a traditional festival in China, it is also most commonly known as “Chinese New Year.” Furthermore, almost every forms of media and game celebrate this occasion, and League of Legends is no exception.
We always get a Lunar-themed skin line at the start of every year. And some of the beloved Lunar skin lines are Firecracker, Warring Kingdoms, Mecha Kingdoms, Shan Hai, Lunar Wraith, Lunar Beasts, etc. Furthermore, in Wild Rift, we receive the Lunar skins during the first major patch of the year (like 4.0, 3.0, etc.).
Surprisingly, this year’s Lunar New Year is taking place earlier than usual, on January 22, 2023. Because of this, we will also receive the Lunar skin line early.
Even though the Lunar New Year is still a month away, massive leaks have already revealed all the champions who will be part of the upcoming Lunar skin line.
A prominent Wild Rift leaker, ChowZ, posted on Twitter about all the skins that will be coming in the upcoming Lunar New Year 2023.

Wild Rift: All Lunar New Year 2023 Skins
The leaker revealed that 5 champions would be receiving the new skins.

2023 will be the year of the rabbit. Because of this, we can expect the upcoming Lunar skin line to have a rabbit theme.
Moreover, Riot accidentally leaked Gwen’s upcoming Lunar skin. And that skin, in particular, had rabbit ears, which matches the Lunar theme. Furthermore, the color scheme is highly similar to the Firecracker skin line. Also, since Zoe and the Lunar Skin line are to be released simultaneously, Zoe’s launch skin will be a Lunar skin.
Release Date
The Lunar New Year 2023 skin line will debut in Wild Rift in patch 4.0, scheduled to release on January 12, 2023.
