As crafting is a large focus of LEGO Fortnite, you’ll want to gather as many resources as possible to progress and survive. You can acquire resources through hunting mobs and animals, farming and harvesting, and mining and cutting, similar to the Battle Royale and Save the World game modes.
Marble is a resource that is important for the early-mid game. It can be used to make Juicers, Medium Chests, and Stone Breakers. Furthermore, Stone Breakers can, in turn, be used to make Marble Slabs.

How to get Marble in LEGO Fortnite
Marble can be found inside caves in the Grasslands Biome. To find caves, look for huge rocks that have an opening. After you enter a cave once, it will be marked on your map, so you won’t have to search for it again. Once inside a cave, look for white rock formations on the ceilings and walls. You can use your pickaxe to mine these formations to get Marble. However, you’ll need an upgraded Pickaxe for this.
Pickaxe
Though you can find Marble very early in the game, you will need an Uncommon Pickaxe to mine for it. To craft an Uncommon Pickaxe, you’ll need the following materials:
- 3x Knotroot Rod (Knotroot can be found inside the same caves as Marble, and can then be processed using a Lumber Mill)
- 3x Bone (Dropped by Skeletons that roam inside Caves)
Furthermore, you will also need to upgrade your Crafting Bench to Uncommon before you can craft the Uncommon Pickaxe. To do this, you’ll need the following materials:
- 3x Shells
- 8x Plank
Crafting Marble Slabs
Marble Slabs are crucial for progression, as they’re used for mid-game upgrades of your Crafting Bench as well as your Village. To convert Marble to Marble slabs, you will first need to build a Stone Breaker, using these materials:
- 35x Marble
- 20x Knotroot
Once you’ve built your Stone Breaker, you can interact with it to deposit your Marble for processing.
