Are you looking to know how much disk space you need to download Modern Warfare 3 on your PC or console? You’ve come to the right place.

Modern Warfare 3 is out for most platforms, and players are starting to get into the action. The game has incredible visuals, fan-favorite game modes, and many new and returning maps. Sledgehammer Games took the helm of Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer following Infinity Ward’s disaster run.

One of the biggest issues Modern Warfare 2 had was the huge download and installed game file size. When we last checked, Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 required a whopping 146 GB of free disk space to install the games.

Not only that, but the absurd update sizes were also why many CoD enthusiasts quit Warzone 2.0, even after loving the overall experience. However, Sledgehammer Games was kind enough to work on the game’s large files by making them as compact as possible.
