Warzone 2.0 Season 3 is finally here. The long-awaited brings new content to the game and many weapon adjustments.

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 has been a massive hit like its predecessor Warzone 1. Warzone delivered the best of CoD in a BR setting. The success of Warzone 1 contributed to Activision developing Warzone 2.0 as a direct sequel.

Warzone 2.0 borrowed a few fundamental mechanics from its predecessor. Besides that, the game started with everything new, including a fresh weapon pool. There are 60 weapons in Warzone 2.0, sharing them with Modern Warfare 2.

Players have been primarily satisfied. with the way weapons are performing in Warzone 2.0. However, some weapons have been more dominant than others. So, to shake things up, the devs have made some weapon adjustments in the Season 3 update. Let’s look at all the weapon adjustments in Warzone 2.0 Season 3 update.

WEAPON BALANCING

The changes in Season 3 add more responsiveness to movement and combat fluidity, including a reduction in the intensity of damage feedback. The devs have also decreased the magnitude of some of the attachment cons.

This will result in an expansion in attachment viability that will enable a broader spectrum of playstyles to excel—Including a change to Explosive Ammo, which allows Bolt-Action Sniper Rifles to down players in one shot.

The change to the Sniper Rifles has been appreciated by all players alike. Previously, Sniper Rifles were severely underpowered making it hard for players to win a long-range gunfight with Battle and Assault Rifles.
