The “Goldflake” or “disconnected from server error” has been plaguing the Warzone 2.0 community since its release. So, in this article, we’ll discuss why this error occurs and how you can fix it.

After Modern Warfare 2‘s massive success, players have been quite excited about the revamped successor of Warzone. After waiting for a while, Activision finally released the long-awaited Warzone 2.0 for PC, XBOX, and PlayStation.

Warzone 2.0 introduced many new features including a brand-new game mode called DMZ. Apart from this new game mode, a new map, new vehicles, and more were released in Warzone 2.0. And, players finally got to experience the new Battle Royale from CoD.

However, like the MW2, Warzone 2.0’s launch hasn’t been smooth. Currently, Warzone 2.0 is facing many bugs, glitches, and stability issues, preventing players from enjoying the game to the fullest. When millions of players try a new game immediately after launch, things like such are expected.

Recently, many players reported a specific disconnection error called “Goldflake”, preventing them from playing both Warzone 2.0 and DMZ. This disconnection error can occur at the startup or in the middle of Warzone 2 and DMZ.

What is the “Goldflake” Disconnection Error?

Warzone 2.0 is currently overpopulated with players trying to experience the updated Battle Royale and DMZ. The “Goldflake” disconnection error mainly occurs when the Warzone servers are down or overloaded. However, a poor internet connection may also cause the “Goldflake” disconnection error to occur.
