Want to know about the characters in the upcoming patches of Genshin? Here I’ve listed every upcoming character in Genshin Impact 5.2 to 5.3!
As the war with the Abyss rages on in Natlan, we are getting new characters in every patch. From all the heroes of Natlan only a few are left to be released and they are sure to come in the coming patches.
So, if you are excited and want to save your primos the follow this guide on the upcoming character banners in Genshin Impact 5.2 to 5.3.
Do keep in mind that some of the characters mentioned are confirmed from Hoyoverse, the rest are speculations, leaks, and some calculations based on their banner release behavior. Therefore, take all of these with a large grain of salt!
Characters Coming in Version 5.2
Chasca
The first character releasing in version 5.2 first half is none other than Chasca. Hoyoverse have already started their drip marketing of the character, so there is no doubt she will be playable in the next version.
She is an Anemo bow unit and her primary role in the team will be of a main DPS. Due to her being Anemo she will excel with supports like Jean, Faruzan and Furina but you can buff her significantly with Bennet and Zhongli as well.
Her elemental skill will allow her to ride her gun (yes a gun!) and will allow her to select 6 infused elements shots with extremely high damage multipliers. This skill will also allow her to fly and is significantly better than Wanderers.
On the other hand, you will get a massive nuke with her elemental burst. In this case, the burst will infuse multiple elements based on the elements of the enemies on the targeted field.

Another character releasing with Chasca is Ororon who will be a 4 star electro bow user. He also comes with unique skill set and might be the first proper 4 star electro bow main DPS in the game!
Lyney
Running along with Chasca is Lyney (not official though) who is a decent choice and a good pair up considering his signature weapon which can boost her overall damage. Lyney is a great mono pyro DPS who can clear the abyss with ease in the right team comps. If you have C6 Cheveruse then his overloaded team is one of the best in the entire game!!!
Zhongli
Next on the archon cycle, is the Geo archon himself, Zhongli. We have been waiting for his rerun for a while and considering he is running with someone who desperately needs resistance interruption it is no brainer that he is the perfect choice for the later half in 5.2.
Zhongli is the strongest shielder in the game and offers resistance shred which makes him a vital support in any team.
Neuvillette
Completing the roster for the 5.2 phase 2 is none other than Neuvillette. The Hydro Sovereign is arguably the best DPS in the game and is a great pull if you want a strong Hydro DPS. He is easy to build and can dish out massive damage with a team catered to his mechanics. And with Zhongli releasing you can have the strongest team in the game at ease.
Characters Coming in Version 5.3
Mavuika
We will get the Pyro archon in the first phase of 5.3 as this is time when the Natlan story will come to a conclusion.
Mavuika will have two elemental skill variants similar to Furina. There is a tap variant and a hold variant. When you tap her skill she will perform cooperative attacks similar to how Raiden’s elemental skill works.
The Pyro archon’s elemental burst is a single hit that will trigger damage every two seconds for 12 seconds. This will make her the perfect off-field Pyro sub-DPS for many teams.
Overall with just the details of her elemental skills, traversal abilities, and burst, Mavuika seems like an extremely unique and fun character. I am definitely going to pull for her.

Yoimiya
Following Mavuika in the first phase of 5.3 is Yoimiya. She has been the constant companion of every archon release since Inazuma. So it is a no-brainer that the chances of her running along Mavuika are extremely high. She is a great single-target pyro DPS who can become one of the best carriers if properly invested.
Citlali
The second phase of version 5.3 will introduce Citlali. A 5-star Cryo character who will take on the shielder Sub-DPS role. Leakers suggest that she can become more versatile with constellations (something quite common in Natlan 5 stars).
She is definitely going to be a strong character considering how she was claimed one of the strongest in the latest 5.2 archon quest.
Her off field Cryo application is rumored to be similar to how Emille applies Dendro. That being said there are still a lot to discover before coming to a conclusion. Citlali may wield a catalyst according to leakers.
Arlecchino
One of the strongest DPS in the game, Arlecchino was introduced in patch 4.6 and is indeed for a rerun. With Natlan premium DPS characters like Mavuika on the rise, it is highly suggested that she will make her rerun in the later half of version 5.3.
