Sharma described the game’s “scale and grandeur” as incredible before adding that its story was “even greater.” Those comments offer an interesting glimpse at how the project is shaping up as Bethesda has kept everything behind closed doors since its original 2018 announcement.

Sharma shared her reaction after visiting Bethesda, writing that she had seen a live playthrough of “The Elder Scrolls VI: ********” that morning.
“The scale and grandeur are incredible. The story is even greater,” Sharma said.
The fact that Xbox’s CEO is now seeing live demonstrations also comes as Bethesda continues to make The Elder Scrolls 6 its main development priority.
Bethesda Game Studios later responded to Sharma and thanked her for visiting, saying it was great to show her “********.” The studio used the same eight asterisks seen in Sharma’s post, seemingly hiding a subtitle for The Elder Scrolls 6.
Naturally, fans are already trying to work out what those eight characters could mean. However, Bethesda has not confirmed the final title, so the number of asterisks should not be treated as definitive evidence of its name.
Bethesda recently confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 is its primary development focus, with the majority of the team currently working on the RPG. The studio also said it is happy with how the game looks and that developers are playing it every day.
Despite the latest encouraging signs, Bethesda has yet to announce an official release date or release window for The Elder Scrolls 6. As of writing, Sharma’s reaction is one of the strongest indications yet that Bethesda’s long-awaited return to Tamriel is taking shape behind the scenes.
