On Steam, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s concurrent player count has dropped so much since its release that it is now lower than Gotham Knights.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s player count on Steam dipped quite a bit, and it was lower than Gotham Knights this week. Publisher Warner Bros Games stated that barely 1,000 people are playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and admitted that the game fell ‘short of expectations.’

Rocksteady’s latest superhero title, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, had fewer peak concurrent players than Marvel’s Avengers after both games left early access. However, Marvel’s Avengers only requires one-time online access to play the game, but Suicide Squad will require you to stay connected to the internet to play the offline story mode.

At launch, Kill the Justice League hit a peak concurrent player count of 13,459 and has dropped significantly since its release. In the past week, the game did not pass 1,000 concurrent players at any point. The community has criticized the story mode of Suicide Squad for missions being repetitive and underwhelming boss fights. However, Rocksteady have announced that the game will be getting content in the future.
