Level Up Fast in Starfield
Starfield gives players a lot of options to gain XP. You can also get XP boosts to increase the XP gain more. These are the ways you can gain an XP boost in the game:
- Sleep to get the Well Rested Bonus. (10%)
- Get Married to get an upgraded version of the Well Rested Bonus. (15%)
- Drink Alien Tea (1%)

Complete Mian and Side Mission
One of the best sources of XP is the game’s main and side missions. The main mission, by far, gives the most amount of XP. But you can always engage in various side quests if you don’t want to continue the story. You can pick up side quests from the mission board in various locations.
On top of that, once you join a faction, you can access the faction mission board. These will open up even more missions for you to complete and gain even more XP. This is a good way to get a good chunk of XP in Starfield.
Engage in Combat
Killing enemeis give the player XP. So you can engage in combat to farm XP. The best way to gain XP from the combat is by boarding ships. Find ships and engage in combat with them. But do not destroy the ships. Once you take out the engine, you will be able to board the ship. Board the ship and kill the enemies inside the ship. That way, you will get a lot more XP than just blowing up the ship. And once you are done with the ship, you can also sell it for some money.
Explore the Universe
Exploration is a key part of Starfield. So the game gives XP each time you visit a new place. So you can explore different planets to get a chunk of XP. And if you find a Gas giant on your travel, you can scan it from orbit since these planets are just gas. Scanning gas giants from orbit will also give you a chuck of XP.
