Among the 5 major factions that exist within the world of Starfield, there are also a good number of minor factions. Here is all you need to know about them.

In Bethesda’s latest RPG, Starfield, you will fill in the shoes of a space explorer, working for the faction called Constellation. Although you start off by joining Constellation, you will later on get the opportunity to join several factions in the game. And honestly, you encounter some of the best questlines in the game by going through the factions.

Factions in Starfield are these collective groups of people who share identical beliefs and would go to great lengths to get what they desire. The world of factions is a complex web of politics and alliances.

There are numerous people to meet, objectives to complete, and stories to finish once you do decide to join any of the factions. Although the major factions play a significant role in shaping the world of Starfield, the minor factions don’t fall far behind.

Rather than a standard faction, Spacers refers to a wide array of individuals and gangs who are scattered throughout the Settled Systems. Many of them are violent, as they will do anything to loot anyone of their belongings.

However, while most of the conversations with Spacers end up in combat, there are a handful of Spacers with whom you can negotiate and reason through dialogue. Additionally, these non-hostile Spacers might even offer you small side quests.

How to Join Spacers

Spacers is an umbrella term for a group of individuals who are usually up to no good. Since they don’t operate as a standard unit, there is no question of joining them at any point in the game.

6. The Red Mile

While not truly a faction in and of itself, The Red Mile is a casino and a hotel notorious and infamous for its main event, The Red Mile Challenge. Patrons from all places will come and bet on the bold risk-takers who are participating in the race to win a fortune. Although a little challenging at first, it can be a good source of credit once you get the hang of it.

How to Join The Red Mile

Although you can participate in the challenge as many times as you like, there is no way to actually become a part of The Red Mile.
