STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl gets updated PC system requirements and it’s a big jump.
GSC Game World has released an updated set of PC System requirements for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. You’d need a considerable upgrade even at minimum settings compared to the original one.
The download size has gone from 150GB to 160GB. Moreover, the minimum RAM has also gone up from 8GB to 16GB. The medium settings were initially considered to be recommended, consisting of Core i7-9700K/ Ryzen 7 3700x and GPU equivalent to 2070 Super, 4060, or RX 5700 XT. All to run at 1080p, 60 FPS. However, the high settings is now labeled as recommended which requires more than double the upgrade. On the bright side, high means 1440p at 60 FPS.
Thus, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl needs a beefy system to get anything above 60 FPS. Find out if your PC is up for it. No matter what, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is going to be a fine game to enjoy.
