Soul Flaying is a powerful mechanism in Lords of the Fallen through which you can either engage in combat with the enemies or even interact with different objects within the Umbral. Through using this mechanism, you can rip out the soul of an enemy by using the Umbral Lamp. But, the entire process of finishing off an enemy through Soul Flaying might seem a bit confusing to you at the beginning.
After you take out the soul of an enemy through Soul Flaying, it will give him some withered health, marked in white beside the red health bar, leaving the enemy very vulnerable to any upcoming attack from you. However, if the extracted soul of the enemy manages to deal any damage to you, they will regain a portion of their Withered Health. Also, you can only finish an enemy when they go back to their real body. But Soul Flaying an enemy will make them drop special currencies after they are defeated.
