League of Legends Patch 12.6 has massively reduced Nexus HP and taken away the health regen of Nexus and Inhibitors without any notice.

League of Legends is constantly changing with each patch, and it helps to shift the meta and keep the game fresh and balanced. But most of the time, the changes are always included in the patch notes, even if they are very minimal.

So it was a big surprise to see the Nexus HP reduced to 3010 from 5500 without any mention in the patch notes. Also, the health regen of Inhibitors and Nexus are turned off. This is a massive change considering how easy it will be to backdoor now.

A video of a player named ‘Kitzuo’ (@KitzuoLoL) is getting a lot of attention where he one-shots a half HP Nexus in a backdoor attempt and wins the game. This bought the matter to everyone, and more players noticed how easy it was to destroy the Nexus.

Changes to Nexus and Inhibitors

Vandiril, a Leauge Youtuber famous for finding many bugs in the game and showcasing them, tweeted recently about the Nexus HP changes.

Even if Riot mentioned this change in the patch notes, it would shock most players, but the fact that there was no mention of it in the patch notes has left League players confused.

This change was most likely not intended, but there isn’t any declaration from Riot as of writing this article. So players will have to wait to see if these changes will be reverted or stay this way. But still, players can expect a statement from Riot pretty soon.
