A recent survey accidentally leaks the upcoming League of Legends champion.
League of Legends was released over 15 years ago. Even though the game is very old, one thing that kept the game interesting was the different champions available to play. Currently, there are over 168 unique champions in the game. Riot has slowed down the process of making new champions in favor of making the older champions better and up-to-date.
Last year we had gotten 4 champions, while this year till now we have gotten 2 new champions. These two champions are Smolder and Aurora. Moreover, we might get Ambessa Medarda as a champion during the release of Arcane season 2. Even with that said, it is still a small number of champions compared to what we were getting before. However, it is expected as the game matures.
All things considered, one thing that has become very common in recent times is champion leaks. Before a champion is released, the information regarding that champion gets leaked on social media at least a couple of weeks early. It has become inevitable. However, what is common among these leaks is that they are done by various 3rd parties. But recently, Riot Games has accidentally leaked a champion themselves. Additionally, that champion is a familiar face for those who have watched Arcane.

League of Legends Leaked Champion: Mel Medarda
Recently, Riot Games posted a survey regarding League of Legends 2024 Split 3. In it, they accidentally revealed the upcoming champion. And that champion seems to be Mel Medarda.
In the champion icon, we can see Mel Medarda’s icon. Not only that we can also see the ability tooltips have placeholder icons. Additionally, the passive does have an original icon.
It has to be noted that, she may very well be a placeholder champion. Silco was initially supposed to be a League of Legends champion. However, he got reworked into Renata Glasc early during the production. Therefore, she might not even come to the main game. But it is still very interesting regardless.
