One of the NPCs will be a Dog that will be faithful to you. Before you get the quest of defeating and killing El Gigante, you will have the task of finding a trapped dog at a location. And there will be two choices for you to choose from, you can kill or save the trapped Dog. Your decisions will become your game’s consequences.

Save or Kill the Trapped Dog?
In Chapter 3, when you visit the Chief’s Manor and go outside, you will hear the Dog howling out loud. If you search the house, you will find the trapped Dog. And then you will have two choices.
The first choice is to “saving the dog from the bear trap.” If you make this choice, the Dog will forever become your friend and truthful companion. It will help you in fighting evil. When you get the mission to defeat El Gigante, the Dog will come to your save and fight with El Gigante so that you get saved. The Dog will help you survive in the game by putting your life in danger.
The second choice is “leave alone to die.” If you choose this option, the Dog will eventually die because of the bear trap, significantly hurting the Dog. And it will kill the Dog slowly and painfully. If you make this choice, the Dog will die and not come to save you when you fight El Gigante.
No matter which option you choose, it will not affect your gameplay. But it will only affect the fact that when you fight El Gigante, the Dog will come if you choose to Save it earlier, but if you decide to Kill it, the Dog will never come when you are in front of the dangerous El Gigante.
