Rainbow Six Siege is getting a small new update today that will address some important bug fixes.
The new Y7S1.3 Patch is being released today on all platforms, and it will focus on fixing some gameplay bugs, and issues on the new Emerald Plains map.
One of the bugs that are being fixed is the Blackbeard Shield bug that was being used to block Stun grenades (you can watch a clip here). The Shield effectively got a buff and made Blackbeard immune to flashbangs, just like how Ying is immune to her own Candelas. Unfortunately, Blackbeard fans won’t be able to get use of this certain feature anymore, as Ubisoft is pushing a fix with this new patch.
Other than this, Siege devs have also addressed the defender gadgets becoming indestructible after certain actions such as being downed or killed while holding the gadget.
The Y7S1.3 Patch will be deployed at 13:00 UTC for PC, which includes Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. For Xbox and Playstation users, the update will drop at 14:00 and 15:00 UTC respectively. The servers will go down for an hour for the patch to be deployed.
