Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege hotfix to mitigate some of the issues that have popped up with the launch of the latest season Operation Solar Raid.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Y7S4 Operation Solar Raid update went live yesterday across all platforms. Ubisoft managed to promote the new season very effectively, creating a new level of excitement among the recent Siege season launches.

However, much of the hype went under the water as players came across numerous bugs and server issues, ruining their gameplay experience.

The hotfix will be deployed today at 14:00 UTC for all platforms. The new season finally introduced account cross-progression, so players are now finally able to merge their console and PC accounts together and reunite with their old skins.

However, Siege players faced a number of crossplay lobby issues, such as not being able to join parties with their friends or receive invites. Additionally, players reported crashing instances after the new update.

Ubisoft addressed all these issues in the new hotfix, so hopefully, players can now go on playing without any hiccups. But it’s not all good news, as a bunch of known issues are yet to be fixed. Siege devs are hard at work trying to provide a seamless gameplay experience to all players.

Hopefully, more fixes will be deployed soon to mitigate more of the persisting problems.
