Rainbow Six Siege fan zMin is back with yet another concept rework idea, and this time it is for the Y3S1 operator: Finka.

zMin, known for her concept fan art in the Siege community, has put together a major rework idea for Finka. The Spetsnaz operator Finka is often described as a cause of disturbance for her teammates. This is because Finka’s global ‘Adrenal Surge’ can suddenly lower the recoil for all the attackers, and if not used in coordination, it can lead the players to lose their gunfights.

“Finka’s issue is that using the gadget griefs your teammates,” stated zMin on Twitter, and the new rework specifically addresses this issue.

The rework removes Finka’s global boost ability and replaces it with a throwable canister. The canister can produce a cloud of nanites, which shields attackers from the defender gadgets. In the AOE of the cloud, all electronics and projectiles that pass through it get disabled. While the allies can also receive a small health boost within the cloud’s range.

Siege’s game director Leroy Athanassoff is a “big fan” of this idea, while game designer Emilien Lomet respected the work, and explained that fans should be more like zMin when putting forward new concept ideas.

Rainbow Six Siege recently released a major rework for Tachanka, so the idea of a complete overhaul for Finka is still possible. The new season for Siege will most probably be revealed in the Six Invitational Grand Finals, so make sure to tune in to the official Rainbow6 twitch stream.
