How to Obtain Riolu and Lucario
To get Lucario, you will first have to obtain the Surf Hidden machine to Canalave City. You can obtain the Surf Hidden machine from Cynthia’s grandmother in Celestic town. After you find yourself in the Canalave City, head to the bottom left of the city where a sailer will offer you to take you to a place called Iron Island. Fans will then need to head to the cave there and explore until you finally reach an NPC called Riley. Moreover, you can find her on the second floor of the cave. She will want you to remove all the Team Galactic from Iron Island.
After that, she will reward you with a Roilu egg, the only Riolu egg found in the game. Moreover, when the egg hatches evolving it to Lucario is the part where it gets tricky. You will need to hit a certain level of friendship with Riolu to Evolve it into Lucario. To grow your friendship level feed it barriers, don’t let it die in battle, and let Riolu walk outside the ball. After you reach the first level of friendship, make sure you only level it up during the day and not the night to make sure it evolves in Lucario.
