New leaks and rumors suggest Persona and several Sega titles will be coming to the Switch successor.
Persona 3 Reload became Atlus’ fastest-selling game ever after selling a million copies in the first week of its release. The game is the long-awaited remake of the original Persona 3, released in 2006. Persona 3 Reload was released on Friday, February 2, 2024, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC.
After the release of Persona 3 Reload, there have been rumors that more Persona remakes might be coming in the future. However, new rumors started floating around that alongside Persona 3 Reload, a few other Atlus and a couple of Sega titles are currently developing for Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 console. Furthermore, Atlus will bring remastered versions of the original Persona and Persona 2 to Nintendo’s console in the future.
Remastered Persona Titles and Sega Games Coming to Switch 2?
According to renowned leaker Midori or MbKKssTBhz5 on Twitter/X, Sega, and Atlus will reveal some games for Nintendo’s Switch successor at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. In addition, Midori said that Atlus will release the epilogue ‘The Answer’ from the original Persona 3 as DLC for Reload.
Midori added that Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Jet Set Studio, and Crazy Taxi Games are amongst the titles that could be coming to the Switch 2. Previously, the leaker has claimed that Atlus is already working on the Persona 2 Duology and Persona 4 remakes, but it won’t be a complete makeover like Reload.
It should be mentioned that none of the titles from the Persona series have been released for Nintendo consoles.
