More Persona remakes are being developed at Atlus, according to new rumors.
Atlus released Persona 3 Reload this month, the much-awaited remake of 2006’s Persona 3. Reload was reviewed incredibly well and well received by the fans of the Persona series. However, Atlus is probably not stopping there, as there have been rumors that more Persona remakes might be coming in the future.

Atlus is reportedly working on remaking the second and fourth mainline Persona games. Although the games are likely years away before they hit the market since they are in early development. Persona 2: Innocent Sin was released for the original PlayStation in 1999, and Persona 4 was released for the PlayStation 2 in July 2008.
More Persona Remakes Are Rumored to be in Development
According to renowned Atlus leaker Midori, both Persona 2 and Persona 4 are in the works at Atlus, but did not provide any additional information. Midori responded to one of her tweets after some followers asked about both games potentially getting remakes.
On the ResetERA forums, further details on these projects were provided by Head on the Block, formerly known as I’m a Hero Too. Head on the Block stated that Persona 2 is not being remade, but the game will be remastered.
Eternal Punishment and Innocent Sin, the two games that make up Persona 2, were both released for the original PlayStation. Although when Eternal Punishment was released, the game received an English translation at launch.
However, Innocent Sin did not receive any translation until the PlayStation Portable port almost 12 years later. The remastered version will likely come with a proper English translation.
Although Persona 4 has never been completely reimagined, a remake of Persona 2 was released for the PSP in 2011. Atlus is probably bringing the series to the current generation consoles and platforms in the future.
