Over 50 "Retro Classics" games added to Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft adds more than 50 “retro classics” games to Xbox Game Pass with more in the future.

With a surprise announcement, Microsoft has added over 50 retro games to Xbox Game Pass. These are games, now considered retro classics from the 1980s to the 1990s and even earlier in the 2000s. Games from our childhood and even before that, from legendary consoles, ranging from the Atari 2600 to even the PlayStation.

Microsoft has always been at the forefront of backwards compatibility and game preservation. Furthermore, with so much of their focus on streaming and bringing Xbox to devices like mobile and even TVs, the “Retro Classics” game collection is a perfect addition to Game Pass.

The retro games also come with a separate app-like section offering achievements, collectibles, challenges, and much more. Thus making the whole feature much more convenient and easy to use. We list down all the games added to Xbox’s Retro Classics collection. Currently, there are 61 titles with more coming in the future. Almost like a separate Game Pass library for retro games.
