Capitano and Columbina are the most hyped characters after Natlan’s release but will they be playable in the coming patches?
Genshin Impact has been delivering itself after the release of the new region Natlan. We are getting more rewards, character updates, quality-of-life improvements, and more. But what every Genshin player looks forward to is the characters coming into the game.
After Capitano’s showdown with the Pyro Archon Mavuika, it’s safe to say all of us want to see him in action more. While there is no confirmation from Hoyoverse, leakers are heavy on the work to claim whether we will get him or not.
According to Iris, a new emerging name in the Genshin leakers community, there will be No playable Capitano or Columbina in Natlan. Now this is a topic of debate as many disagree with this claim while other supports it.
So, today, I will dive into these statements and give my personal opinion on whether they will be playable and if you should save your primogems.
No Capitano or Columbina in Natlan

This leak is what stirred the question of whether we will get another Fatui instead of Capitano and the most likely candidate was Columbina. Up until now, there haven’t been any leaks regarding this matter as well. It is claimed by leakers that she will be part of the Natlan storyline but her availability is uncertain.
This also triggered a new rumor that we won’t get any Fatui this time around.
So, What Can We Expect?
I personally don’t think we will be getting Capitano in Natlan. This is solely because he is ranked 1 in Fatui. This makes me think Hoyoverse is saving him for Sneznaya’s release.
He still didn’t get any avatar in the game which further supports the fact of him not releasing in Natlan. I believe they are building him up like they did with Wanderer. He was introduced in 1.0 but was released in 3.0 patch.
As for Columbina, I think she will join the cast in Natlan in later patches like 5.6 or 5.7. I will release a complete Natlan character banner lineup, make sure to check that out.
That being said, it won’t be out of Hoyoverse’s character to not release a new Fatui like they did when Inazuma came out. Wanderer was heavily inflicted in that storyline too. And as Hoyo has been changing the banner line (Archon lineups) it can be a possible twist.
But I am hoping to play Columbina in the 5. Patches. So, I would suggest that you keep your primogems safe for her as I am positive that she will come soon!
