Ubisoft just announced the new Rainbow Six: Siege Official Extension for Twitch, a tool to help viewers engage and influence their favorite streamer’s matches.
Ubisoft already had a similar tool built for their latest Battle Royale “Hyper Scape” called ‘Crowncast extension’. And this time, Ubisoft’s tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege also gets the same treatment, as they introduce this extension for Siege Twitch streamers. Here’s what Ubisoft had to say about this new extension.
Rainbow Six Siege Twitch Extension
Interaction has always been at the core of streaming and we have our heart set on delivering better gaming & streaming experiences. With the new Rainbow Six: Siege Official Extension, we are taking a step in that direction by offering a new tool for all streamer to engage with their community.
The extension offers you an overlaid panel to display your in-game main stats, a pre-filled poll system to engage your community with challenges and votes.
Additionally, all the latest news from Rainbow Six will be available directly in the panel for your viewers to discover.

Ubisoft also has some plans to introduce a new streamer mode for Rainbow Six Siege in the future. Till then, the streamers will have to deal with stream-sniping. But now at-least their engagements with the chat should be better.
