Riot just announced a brand new game mode called ARAM Mayhem.
Over the last couple of years, we have been spoiled with new game modes, Arena, Brawl, return of Doom Bots, to name a few. Now Riot has announced yet another game mode for League of Legends, and it’s called ARAM Mayhem.
In the latest dev blog video titled “ARAM Mayhem, Smurfing & More,” Riot announced that a brand new game mode called ARAM Mayhem is coming to the game. According to Riot, it will be an ARAM-based game mode that will feature a mix of normal ARAM and Arena. Basically, ARAM with augments, so if you had AAA ARAM in Wild Rift, you would be pretty familiar with this mode.
Additionally, the gamemode will contain brand-new augments designed specifically for this game mode, including augments that play off of multiple people. Finally, for the ARAM enjoyers, normal ARAM will still be available while the game mode is active, so you can choose what you play.
As for the release date, the game mode will arrive on Patch 25.21, which is scheduled for October 22, 2025.
