In an interview before the Worlds 2022 Finals, MrBeast confirmed that he wants ownership of an LCS Team.

Worlds 2022 was a blast of a tournament as the unlikeliest run from DRX capped off the year. This year’s finals were one of the best, if not the best, finals in League of Legends history and one to be remembered for years to come. Thus, it was a great tournament with a deserved ending.

MrBeast, a streaming personality turned entrepreneur, is one of the most influential figures in the world. He managed to translate his success as a streamer into becoming an entrepreneur. He founded MrBeast Burger, Feastables, and many other fundraisers to get himself into the highest echelon of societies as a businessman and philanthropist.

Over the course of the past year, there were many murmurs of MrBeast potentially getting into the LCS as an owner. LCS teams have been up for buyouts for a while, as just a month ago, FlyQuest sold their slot. In an appearance in the pregame show in Worlds Finals 2022 in San Francisco, MrBeast has confirmed his desire to buy an LCS team.

MrBeast To Buy An LCS Team

Here is a clip of MrBeast expressing his desire to get into the LCS.

When asked whether MrBeast is going to buy an LCS team, MrBeast said, “Oh gosh. Yeah, 100% Percent.” This indicates his desire to buy a team.

Mr.Beast also said, “Question is more when. Because if we do it, you know, I wanna have a team that makes it to a stage like this.” That stage was in reference to San Francisco’s Chase Center on the day of the Worlds 2022 Finals.

MrBeast also talked about getting the right pieces in place and that it would take a year or two years before he bought into the LCS. MrBeast also expresses an ambition to take the team to the highest level. It is very likely we will see MrBeast as an owner soon enough. We should know more when negotiations start for a team.
