Learn how to perform and unlock all brutalities in Mortal Kombat 1.
Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest addition to the iconic MK series. This game is among the legends for its captivating lore and fighting moves. Mortal Kombat games have always featured finishing moves, where players can finish the battles by severely knocking out their enemies in different ways. The developers have always shown creativity by putting something new into the game to make the ending of any game more exciting. Thus, we have already seen brutalities in previous editions of MK.
Brutalities are, as always, one of the critical parts of MK1, alongside other finishing moves like Fatality. However, the developers have made slight adjustments to this move. Beginners are likely to get confused while understanding the move combinations in Mortal Kombat 1, especially the ones like Brutality. In this guide, we will show you how to unlock and perform all Brutalities in Mortal Kombat 1.
How to Perform All Brutalities in MK1
Performing Brutalities in Mortal Kombat 1 might be a bit tricky for beginners. You must use Brutality to finish off a game, and you must use it before your Fatality unlocks. That means once the ‘Finish Him’ option comes to your screen, you can no longer end the game with Brutality. So make sure to use Brutalities before the end phase of any fight.
Each character in Mortal Kombat 1 will have a Klassic Brutality, which is the first Brutality for each one of them. In order to perform this, you will need to perform an uppercut punch as the finishing move of the game. To do so, press the down button and hold the punch button to perform your Brutality move. Once done successfully, this will act as the finishing move and end the battle.
How to Unlock All Brutalities in MK1
You have to unlock Brutalities for each character before you can perform them in battles. However, the process to unlock Brutalities is very simple. You need to select a character and keep playing with it to level up the character’s mastery. By the time the character reaches Level 5, you will have unlocked two of the Brutalities for that certain character.
Each character can reach up to Level 35 character mastery, and the rewards at the upper levels are still secret. So keep leveling up your character to the max to ensure you have unlocked all the Brutalities. In this way, keep grinding with your favorite characters till you unlock all the Brutalities in Mortal Kombat 1.
